Hey: Split Attraction Model

I feel like people are confused, honestly, about what exactly is the split attraction model.

The split attraction model is NOT:
½ orientation + ½ orientation = Full orientation

The split attraction model IS:
Orientation + orientation = personal orientation.

Yea, I’m aware the math doesn’t make sense at face value. But this is how it works. I’m asexual and panromantic.

My orientation is asexual. My orientation is also panromantic.

My split attraction is panromantic asexual. I am an asexual who is romantically attracted to most/all genders.

My asexuality is not dependent on my panromanticism. My panromanticism is not dependent on my asexuality.

It’s not “part of one plus part of another”
It’s “these two orientations both describe my feelings”.
